Crews are preparing for around-the-clock shifts in Bergen County once this weekend's winter storm moves into the area.
Plows are lined up and ready to tackle the snow. Public works crews tell News 12 New Jersey that Bergen County is more than prepared with 2,700 tons of salt.
People that live in the area don't seem to be taking the storm quite as seriously. It may be the lack of snow so far this winter that has made people overly confident.
Officials are asking people to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. If you must travel, make sure to clear all of the snow off of your car first, or you could face a fine.
