Several restaurants, including an Applebee's and Chick-fil-A, are opening up on Route 17 in Paramus as part of a Stop & Shop renovation project.
The borough's planning board approved the project Thursday night.
The site will include a Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A, Applebee's and Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas.
The project also includes a new scaled down, "modern" version of the grocery store.
Everything on the current site, including the grocery store and former Kmart building, would be knocked down.
Built in its place would be five free-standing buildings and a new 55,000-square-foot Stop & Shop.
