The Chatham Police Department needs the public’s help locating a wayward goat.

The goat has been seen throughout the town, peering into people’s windows.

“We know who the rightful owner of the goat is, and it is not Creekside Farms,” the department wrote on Facebook.

Police are warning the public that they should not try to apprehend the goat. They should call the police if the animal is spotted.
