Cedar Grove police to wear body cameras; required for both uniformed and non-uniformed officers

Police officers in Cedar Grove will now be wearing body cameras, and they will be required to be worn by both uniformed and non-uniformed officers.

Police officers in Cedar Grove will now be wearing body cameras, and they will be required to be worn by both uniformed and non-uniformed officers.
The cameras are linked to the officer's patrol car, and produce audio and video recordings, as well as still images.
According to the department, the cameras will "enhance officers’ testimony" while also increase “accountability and transparency."
