Officials say a car crashed into a Clifton home after the driver lost control of the vehicle Monday morning.

Authorities say the accident occurred at around 5:30 a.m. at a home on Athenia Avenue. The driver apparently drove straight into the house instead of following the curve of the road.

Officials say the driver was injured and taken to the hospital. According to officials, one person was inside the home and she was not injured. The homeowner?s contractors say the home is currently inhabitable and repair work could take a few months.
