In this week's Road Trip: Close to Home, it’s all about capturing the moment.
News 12 New Jersey’s Amanda Lee visited the Zimmerli Museum in New Brunswick where two exhibits focus on the lives of people in New Jersey and in New York.
The George Segal exhibit features work that is heavily inspired by everyday people in the Garden State. The Michelle Agins exhibit features Black culture and New York culture through photographs.
“This is her first museum exhibition, so that's particularly exciting for us and I think for her,” said Zimmerli Art Museum director Maura Reilly. "Her images are generally featured in newspapers and online… so this is really wonderful to be able to print them and put them at the walls."
Agins will be at the Zimmerli Museum to tell her story this Saturday. For more information, click here.
