The Cape May County Zoo is accepting residents' used Christmas trees and using them for some of the animals.
The trees will be used as fodder for the goats and giraffes.
They will also be used as toys for the lions and leopards.
What's left of the trees will get grounded into mulch.
Residents can drop their trees off through Jan. 11 at the zoo's main gate.
The trees must be completely free of decoration, including tinsel. They also must be in good condition, not dry or brittle.
