NEW BRUNSWICK - A man wanted in the murder of a New Brunswick teenager has been caught in western Texas.
Border patrol agents arrested Marcos Antonio Miranda-DeJesus near the Mexican border as he rappelled from a bridge. He is wanted in the stabbing death of 14-year-old Alex Gombas back in Sept. 2010.
Authorities say Gombas, a freshman at New Brunswick High School, and a friend were attacked by three men, and that Gombas was one of the suspects. The other two suspects have already been arrested, with one being charged with murder and the other with attempted murder.
Miranda-DeJeses is facing murder changes and extradition to New Jersey, and may also be charged with illegally entering the United States.
