Pat Calello runs Victoria Mews, an assisted living center that is home to 82 residents. The average age of residents is about 87 years old and there are four people over the age of 100.
"If we knew something that would be helpful," says Calello.
The center does have a generator, but Calello says that helps power the elevators, lights and refrigerator.
Since some residents rely on oxygen, Victoria Mews and nearby Boonton Care Center, a nursing home, have usually been a priority for JCP&L, but not this time.
"If we are not going to have electricity until Tuesday or Wednesday it would be good for us to know that," says Calello.
JCP&L is reporting that throughout Morris County there are still more than 30,000 outages.
