Boil water advisory lifted in Edison; water now safe to drink
A boil water advisory in Edison has now been lifted, according to township officials.
The advisory had been in effect since Tuesday morning following a water main break in town.
The break happened near the intersection of Brunswick and Plainfield avenues, causing customers to have little-to-no water pressure.
Township officials say that Edison residents can now resume consuming the water, as it is now safe to drink.
