BMW slams into dump trucks in Edison before bursting into flames

Authorities say the BMW was traveling at a high rate of speed along Route 1 North near a Chuck E. Cheese and a car dealership.

A dump truck driver is lucky to be alive after a BMW crashed into his vehicle, as well as a second dump truck, before bursting into flames early this morning.
Authorities say the BMW was traveling at a high rate of speed along Route 1 North near a Chuck E. Cheese and a car dealership.
The driver crashed around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, and the BMW had to be taken away on a flatbed.
It's not clear whether anyone in the BMW was injured, or if the driver will be charged.
