Bloomberg unveils health insurance Web tool
Mayor Michael Bloomberg unveiled a Web-based tool Monday to help individuals and small business owners navigate the health insurance industry.
The site, New York City Health Insurance Link, is available through NYC.gov and is designed to outline health coverage options for people shopping around for new coverage or small business owners looking to provide insurance for employees.
The mayor says the site will help people find the most affordable and suitable health coverage options. In a news conference Monday, he said the site will build on the city's other informational programs, like HealthStat and 311.
