Winning a prize at one of those arcade claw games can be a lot harder than it looks.

New Jersey state Sen. Nick Scutari thinks your chances of winning aren't good enough. He is introducing a bill to strengthen how the games are regulated.

Scutari, who says the bill is for "consumer protection," says because the claw on the machines can be calibrated by the operators, it's not so much a game of skill but of chance.

Wayne Cimarelli, director of the New Jersey Amusement Association and owner of Castle Coin in Seaside Heights, says it's necessary to change the settings depending on the size of the prizes and how valuable they are.

Plus, he says, the state's Legalized Games of Chance and Control Commission is already doing its job inspecting these games.
