2h agoBeach replenishment projects will begin in Monmouth County by November.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will conduct beach replenishment in three towns – Allenhurst, Deal and Loch Arbour. The projects will restore more than 1.1 million cubic yards of sand to the beaches.
The multimillion-dollar project is expected to be completed by the end of March 2022 if there are no weather or mechanical-related delays.
