Bargain hunters in New Jersey headed out early Friday with a game plan and a list.

Some stores opened at midnight with some big sales. And shoppers were out waiting for those stores to open. Some say the line around Circuit City in Freehold wrapped around the building for several hours.

Some of the hot items shoppers are looking to get discounts on are HD televisions and other electronics.

Many stores say they will run their sales throughout the weekend.
