The State Attorney General's Office is probing a deadly shooting last month in Newton involving a police officer.
Authorities say the officers were responding to a call from a family member concerned about Gulia Dale's behavior, and that he had a gun.
They say when officers showed up, Dale was leaving in his car.
Police asked him to get out. He did, but then got back inside. When he got out again, officers say he had something in his hand. That's when officers Steven Kneidl and Garrett Armstrong fired their weapons.
A gun was later found near Dale.
