LANCASTER, Pa. - Police say the Amber Alert for two young children taken from a central Pennsylvania home is over.

New Jersey State Police say the two children were found safe.

Pennsylvania State police earlier said the 3-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy were taken by two men at gunpoint after an altercation at a Lancaster home at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police said the abductors fled in a black vehicle and could be traveling to Massachusetts but said later that the vehicle was believed to be returning to the commonwealth from New Jersey.

Authorities said a vehicle was stopped at about 8 a.m. Friday on a highway in Philadelphia and the two suspects were arrested.
