Accidents around the state snarl traffic during evening commute
Car accidents around New Jersey caused heavy traffic delays around the state Thursday.
A three-car crash on the Garden State Parkway near Aberdeen backed up traffic for miles around 4 p.m. Video from Chopper 12 showed at least one car was flipped onto its roof during the crash.
New Jersey State Police say that 43-year-old Port Monmouth resident John Martorelli was killed in the crash. No other injuries were reported.
Another crash on Route 35 in Sayreville also slowed down traffic Thursday evening.
Police did say if anyone was hurt in that crash.
