A 61-year-old woman in Omaha, Nebraska has given birth to her own granddaughter, serving as a surrogate mother for her son and his husband.
Matthew Eledge, her son, and Elliot Dougherty, his husband, were talking about becoming parents.
Despite going through menopause, Cecile Eledge was approved to be a surrogate after extensive screening.
Elliot's sister provided the egg.
Cecile gave birth last week at Nebraska Medical Center.
