An 83-year-old New Jersey widow could lose her home over a $31 payment.

"I've been here 50 years ? and I'm losing it over a $31 payment [because] I didn't hit the right button on the screen," says Sirkka Damora.

Damora says last November she tried to make an online payment on her home equity line but forget to click the "submit" button. She then made the payment 10 days later, and says the bank didn't even charge her a late fee.

But National City Bank, a division of PNC Bank, says Damora's mistake is a "failure to meet the repayment requirements" and terminated her line of credit.

PNC Bank refused comment about Damora's case.
