A 74-year-old man died in a fire in Bogota on Sunday. Prosecutors identified the victim as Gerald Gaimo.

Fire departments responded to a house on River Road on Saturday where they found Gaimo unconscious inside the home. He later died at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Parts of the house were scorched and charred from the heat of flames.

Officials say one woman survived. The extent of her injuries is unknown.

The investigation is ongoing, and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
