A young child is recovering after being shot inside a home in Irvington.
Irvington police say a 6-year-old was found shot inside a house on Crescent Lane Thursday morning. The child was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
After the shooting, police executed a search warrant at the home and found evidence of the shooting.
A person has been charged with the crime. Police have not released who that person is.
