4 shot, 1 dead in East Orange
Police and Essex County officials are investigating a shooting incident in which one man died and three others were injured.
East Orange Police say 22-year-old Ahmad M. Crudup, of Maplewood, died shortly before midnight Sunday at University Hospital in Newark.
It happened about 11:30 p.m. Sunday when police responded to reports of gunshots in the 200 block of S. Clinton Street.
Officials say the other three victims were male and were treated for injuries that weren't life-threatening. Their names were not released.
