A four-alarm fire broke out in an abandoned home in Paterson, displacing 10 people after spreading to neighboring houses.
According to officials at the Paterson Fire Department, the fire started at 107 East Main St. at around 6 p.m. Monday. The fire quickly spread to several other homes in the area.
Residents were evacuated as a precaution and now 10 people will have to find another place to stay.
Official say no one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Neighbors in the area say there was another fire in an abandoned home close by about one or two weeks ago.
