About 30 dogs got a new lease on life despite the snowy and treacherous conditions today thanks to David Bourke.
Bourke says he rescued the dogs from kill shelters in the south and drove them to rescues in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
He says that his passion for saving dogs means he'll trudge through even the worst weather.
"There were four 18-wheelers on their sides on the way up and lots of cars," he said.
