Three firefighters were injured this morning while battling a house fire in Passaic.
Officials say the fire broke out at 216 Central Ave. The blaze destroyed one home and damaged two others, displacing 25 people.
The injured firefighters were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital. A fire chief says one firefighter was forced to leap out of a window following a "flashover situation" on the second floor. Authorities said the firefighters were treated and released.
