1 person dead following double car cash in Trumbull

Police say one of the passengers from the convertible died from their injuries.

White Plains Road in Trumbull has reopened Monday morning following a car accident that killed one person.
Police say the crash happened Sunday afternoon between Brock Street and Route 25 south. They say a convertible and a Sedan collided causing heavy damage to both vehicles.
Police say people from both cars were taken to the hospital. They say one of the passengers from the convertible died from their injuries.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
